Azerbaijani national football player Mahir Emreli shared his thoughts on the German II Bundesliga club "Nuremberg", with whom he parted ways. Sport24.az reports that the 27-year-old forward made a statement to "Bild" newspaper about this:
"My Nuremberg career was short but very beautiful. It's sad that it's over now. But I'm glad I was able to say goodbye in this way."
Emreli also spoke about his future plans:
"I told my agent to leave me alone until the end of the season. Nothing has been decided yet. It was important for me to focus all my attention on Nuremberg until the last day."
It should be noted that Mahir Emreli, who moved to the II Bundesliga representative at the beginning of the season, was not extended his contract. He scored 10 goals in the championship and 1 goal in the national cup as part of "Nuremberg". It is said that an unnamed Bundesliga club and "Kaiserslautern" are interested in the Azerbaijani striker.
