Real Madrid has reached an agreement with Xabi Alonso, who will become the new head coach.
Idman.biz reports that the influential Marca newspaper has reported that the Royal Club will sign a 3-year contract with the 43-year-old specialist.
Xabi Alonso, who currently coaches Bayer Leverkusen, will also bring to Madrid his assistant Sebas Parrilla, a physical training coach, with whom he has worked since 2018. Real's current head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, will say goodbye to the club on May 25, after the last game of the season.
It should be noted that Xabi Alonso played for Real Madrid as a football player from 2009-2014.
